So last week I forgot to mention the extra money I had from my tax refund. that was $1,100. Now that’s out of the way, I tried so hard not to panic and buy all the things, but I did go grocery shopping multiple times to get the things I wanted when they were in stock. I may have also impulse bought things like cookies and went for a gallon of milk because the pints were sold out. I get my last full paycheck this weekend and then I’ll be in the land of the unknown. We’ll see how it all plays out. If I find more employment, I might be able to boost my income and with the cut in student loan interest, I should be able to put a big dent in my debts. Especially if the stimulus package comes through.
I’m definitely lazy. My average steps this week was under 5,000. Because of the loss of income, I spent a ton of time applying for jobs. If I get this restocking job, I’ll be back to getting 15,000 steps a day. I’ll be working 3rd shift, so I’ll also be able to go and use my company’s warehouse as my personal gym. However I somehow lost a pound probably because I haven’t snacked or eaten as much because grocery shopping has been a pain with all the chaos. I’m sure the stress levels of all this uncertainty helped a bit
