End of Week Review 2/14/20

This was a good week. So far this has been the best week for forward progress. This has been the biggest jump up of my net worth, and the most I’ve lost in a single week. I know I’m just starting out on my weight loss, and net worth gains, but I’m totally riding this train to keep me motivated.

I’ve started doing interval running or as I call it “Hockey running”. I call it Hockey Running because when playing a game (even though I was goalie), The skaters will have anywhere from 45 seconds to 1 minute on the ice going full speed, and then a couple minutes on the bench. So because my gym is weird their walk/run track is 1/14 of a mile long. I’ll do 3 laps running, then 6 laps walking, rinse and repeat. I started last week with 2 laps run, 4 laps walk. Each lap walking is about a minute, and running is about 30 seconds give or take. My goal is to be able to do this for an hour or more over time. I’m very prone to stitches which is why Hockey running works for me. It gives me the time to deal with the oncoming stitch while still getting my steps in. At work, I’m in 3rd place for steps this month.
